Help Rain keep going after Michael's brain cancer fight
Donation protected
After nearly 4 years, Michael's fight with Glioblastoma has come to an end.
I will never say that a battle with cancer has been lost. Someone may succumb to it, but that cancer does not survive, either.

I'm Rain, and my husband is Michael. Our whole world changed in November 2021, when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma.
Glioblastoma is a very aggressive brain cancer with few treatment options. It is also, as we've found out, super expensive. His income went away, and so did most of mine as I shifted into a caregiver role. Medical expenses went up, obviously. Regular expenses like food went up. There have been the kinds of surprise expenses that anyone could expect, like roof, HVAC, and plumbing repairs. There have been house projects to solve accessibility problems as those have come up. And sometimes a bunch of things all come up at once.
Not surprisingly, living with glioblastoma continues to be expensive, and finances continue to be a struggle. Various utilities and medical providers would like to be paid, and I'd like to pay them. Unfortunately, they're not accepting thoughts and prayers or cat pictures as payment, so I'd greatly appreciate any donations and/or sharing this.
