Help us keep Trell safe

Hi! My name is Danielle, and I'm raising money for my son's best friend, Raintrell Miller-Knox, we know as Trell. Although they have been best friends for a year now, we only recently found out that his living situation has deteriorated from abusive to downright unsafe. We can no longer just support him from the sidelines, and we made the quick and firm decision to invite him in to be our home as a permanent addition.
The thing is, we've been on a rocky and financially tumultuous road already, navigating three kids on one income through the pandemic. Although I am beginning to pull my business boots back now, we are strapped to the max and I DO NOT KNOW HOW we will do it, I just know we must. This chunk of change that we are asking for from our community will get us through the initial hump of "ohmygodhowtheheckwillwedothis" we are facing right now.
We just couldn't turn our backs on this boy. He is such a blessing and...
We love him.
We loved him already, from day one, but my big mama heart grew two sizes this morning as he shared even more pieces of his incredibly heart wrenching story after I dropped the other boys off to school. In foster care for the first decade of his life, only to finally be reunited with blood that have only used, abused, and bruised this special boy.
This kid. So much has happened to him, and yet he still shines like this sun. He loves football, and he even played on the varsity team his Freshman year! He's already being scouted by various colleges. We know he's going to go far with Football and we want to help him get there. We want to be the family he has never had. Football season is already up and running, and we are behind getting our ducks in a row for that since we only found out yesterday that he'd been homeless for three days already this week. He just didn't want to tell us, until he made the brave decision to tell us.
Anyway, our immediate needs are:
Sports Physical (85)
Football cleats (120)
Food
Dental work (100s, if not more)
Clothing (he's only got one backpack full of belongings)
Sports insurance (33)
Cell phone (200?)
Cell service (?)
Food, Food, and Food (enough to feed a 6'1" GROWING BOY!!)
Drivers Ed (400)
Shelving/storage (200) To turn our office into a spare bedroom
Bedframe (150) we already have a mattress
and probably a ton of other things that I currently do not know of yet.
