https://youtu.be/6Tc2FWwLDww Rally the troops…We need a miracle! As some of you know this last year has been pretty rough on us. We’ve had plenty of illness and injury along with house, car and pet issues.

 

We know it’s temporary and are staying positive but we need some help getting over the hump. Here’s what’s going on…

 

I have been out on medical leave since July. Along with my other health issues I found out I have a heart defect I was born with. I’m still undergoing testing but am told that open heart surgery is the only way to correct it.

 

The tests are determining how soon that needs to be. It causes pretty debilitating shortness of breath and fatigue with any activity making it nearly impossible to work. Since I cannot return full time, I have lost my current position.

 

After spending most of the last year on medical leave, Nick has recently returned to work in a new field which has been a great change for him and obviously it’s helping us catch up on bills. That being said, currently our funds are depleted. Benefits are in the works for me but it is not a quick or easy process.

 

So…that leaves the hole we’re in now. Mainly our mortgage. While we need help all around, our immediate need is for $4,257.66 to keep this house we worked so hard to get. If you told me a year ago this is where we’d be I would have never believed you. 

 

We are so grateful for the amazing friends and family that have already reached out. We really appreciate everyone’s support and we love you all!
