We need help getting some emergency funds together to keep our theater equipment! We have been putting all of our money into our theater - Story Screen Cinema in Hudson, NY - to ensure that we can settle accounts and keep all of the equipment for a future location (or resell items we do not need) while getting ready to move out of the Fairview Ave. location by the end of February 2026. We need your help to be able to pay the remaining balance owed to own all of the theater equipment. Otherwise, we lose all the money we previously paid and our landlord gets to keep all of the equipment.

We know money is tight for everyone and we are super sorry to ask for your help but we truly do need the help. Any financial contribution will help us. No amount is too small. We really really appreciate it. You will be helping us hold on to all of the equipment to use at a future theater location or to be allowed to resell any equipment that we do not currently need in order to help pay other bills (including lawyers and our landlord). We are very sad to close Story Screen Cinema on Fairview Ave in Hudson, NY, but we plan to find a new location in the future to continue showcasing great film programming and community events. Thank you again for welcoming us into the greater Hudson community and supporting our small independent business these past two years.
