We are reaching out to ask for your support in keeping our Sanctuary funded, so we can continue providing the care our animals both need and deserve.

Four years ago we founded the Sanctuary to give a home to animals who had no other options — those who would otherwise be left homeless or suffering. Since then, we’ve fed them, sheltered them, loved them, and ensured they received the medical care they required. We remain as committed to that promise today as we were on day one.

From the beginning, we were fortunate to have a consistent and generous benefactor in the United States who believed in our mission. However, due to the current global climate, our supporter may no longer be able to sustain this level of help. We never imagined that events happening across the Atlantic would ripple all the way to our corner of the Algarve — but they have.

That’s why we’re turning to you. If you’ve adopted from us, visited us, or ever considered supporting our work, we are asking from the heart: PLEASE consider helping now. We urgently need funds to provide food for our large farm animals, specialty diets for our older and fragile dogs and cats, veterinary care from our dedicated partners (who cannot continue offering their services free of charge), and wages for our small but essential staff.
