After working as a bartender for years, I lost my job in April when the bar I worked at shut down. Since then, I’ve been applying for jobs every week, but haven’t received any offers. This has made it impossible to pay my rent on time, and now I’m facing so many late fees that have doubled my financial burden. I’ve lived in my home for 10 years with my husband Dylan and our son, Jayden, and the thought of losing our home is overwhelming.

We’re doing everything we can to stay afloat, but the mounting late fees and rent have put us at risk of homelessness. My family means everything to me, and keeping a roof over our heads is my top priority.
