My fiancé and I are expecting our first child, and while this should be a time of excitement, we've been faced with unexpected challenges. My fiancé has been struggling with severe nausea, fatigue, and blood sugar issues due to her pregnancy, making it nearly impossible for her to work. On top of that, I recently developed kidney stones that required two surgeries, leaving me unable to work as the main breadwinner for our family.

We just purchased our home in July to start our family, but now we're at risk of missing our house payment. We're also behind on both of our vehicle payments, and the bills are piling up faster than we can manage. Unfortunately, I can't collect unemployment while on medical leave, and the new FMLA rules mean I won't receive any payments until after April 1st. All of this began on February 19th, and it's been a struggle to keep up ever since.
