My husband and I are facing one of the most challenging times of our lives. Recently, my husband was placed on leave without pay due to extenuating medical circumstances that required urgent surgery on his cervical/neck area. For privacy reasons, we are not sharing the specifics of his condition, but his recovery will require physical therapy and ongoing medical evaluation. As the primary wage earner in our home, his inability to work has left us without income, and I am unable to work as I will be his caretaker during his recovery.

We are now struggling to cover our most basic needs. The funds we raise will go directly toward keeping a safe roof over our heads by helping with rent, mortgage, and utilities. They will also help us manage travel expenses to and from the hospital, as well as co-pays, deductibles, and other medical bills and equipment that are not covered by insurance. The financial strain is overwhelming, and we are doing everything we can to get through this together.

We know that many people are going through hardships, especially at this time of year. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and could make the difference in helping us keep our home and meet our essential needs. First goal is to pay the lot rent in the amount of $590 which is past due for the month of December.

A 6 weeks leave without pay is awaiting for us followed by physical therapy. We are heading home today, Saturday 12/13/25.
