My landlord is moving our rent from $850/month to 1,000/month, and we already cannot afford groceries for a family of 4. We don’t qualify for food stamps because my husband and I make $200 over the limit in GA. The only option for us is to move into a house his grandparents own, but we aren’t allowed to take our cats. This money would go in our rent portal so that we could stay here with our babies. Otherwise we will have to give them away.
