I usually don't do this, but I don't know what else to do. On Christmas Eve, I got a call that my husband had cut his pinky off. On Christmas night, he had an emergency amputation because the bone was sticking out. They don't know if they are going to have to take more or not; we won't know, they said, until 3 months. With the doctor's appointments, we don't know when he's going back to work or when his short-term disability is going to start. It's starting to take a toll on him. Him being the main provider, I can see the worry on his face. I've been looking for work, putting in application after application, and still haven't gotten anything. I hate seeing him in this much pain physically, emotionally, and mentally because we don't know what we're going to do. Our bills won't stop coming, and with all the doctor's appointments and co-pays, it's going to be hard to keep our heads above water. Our 16-year-old is staying at my dad's until we can figure out what we're going to do because we don't want him to have to see us worrying. I don't want to lose my home. I don't want to look at my son and tell him he doesn't have a home anymore. I don't want to have to choose between eating or paying for power. Please, anything helps. Thank you.
