Hello all,

I am making this donation page for my parents and I to help pay back our April property tax.

Towards the end of 2023 and all of 2024, my father went through cancer treatments including two surgeries, radiation and chemo. At the time our minds were preoccupied with that whole journey (including our wallets) and by the time this April came around everything seemed to catch up with us and we were not financially able to make our April property tax payment.

We have already received a letter from our county about potential foreclosure. We own our home outright so it's just very disappointing that because of one missed payment we could lose everything. But that's the law for you.

We were very thankful for the advice we got from multiple people. We did a lot of calling around and googling and even contacting our county but we have unfortunately come to a dead end and realize we have exhausted all of our options. Both of my parents are in their mid to late seventies and are just on social security. I was fortunate to get a few extra side jobs but unfortunately have not got any more offers so that has been really disappointing as well.
