Hello, my name is Deanna and I am raising money to assist in my legal battles between my siblings (whom I refer to as my children at this point) and their abusers, their biological parents.

I have been fighting for the full adoption of my siblings since 2019 and have retained permanent legal custody since 2018. Their biological father is a registered sex offender who has sexually and physically abused multiple children in the household. Our mother is physically and mentally abusive, as well as a drug addict, and has caused them extreme stress and endangerment. Even though there has been no contact in 5 years as per my children's wishes, both parents are contesting adoption and have been dragging me through the emotional, spiritual, and financial ringer for years. We are in over 20k+ and have exhausted grants, funding assistance, credit cards, and all of our savings.

As we near setting a trial, my attorney is requesting a new retainer, I must pay a guardian ad litem to prevent my children from having to take the stand and cause undue stress to them, their mental health providers are willing to testify on their behalf, if we can pay the necessary retainer fees and hourly rates for each provider. I must also pay for the new home study, new background checks, and other court filing fees.

I know this is a monumental ask, but I am out of options at this point. I ask that you please consider helping keep our family together and protect our children from those who have abused them. I am not accustomed to asking for help, but I am not willing to let these monsters win, and I will do all that I need to, to keep fighting to give the kids the life they deserve. When I first got the kids they had no required vaccinations, no previous dental care, and were not attending school due to negligence and abuse.
