My family and I are facing a crisis that we never expected. We live paycheck to paycheck, with very little saved after covering all our bills each month. Our only car was recently hit by a deer. The accident left the front driver door unable to open, and now the insurance company is sending someone to determine if the car is a total loss or if it can be fixed. If it’s declared a total loss, the insurance payout will go straight to the lien holder, and we’ll be left without a vehicle.
This car is our only means of transportation to and from work, and without it, we risk losing our jobs and our apartment. We also have a 7-year-old son with ADHD who needs regular medical appointments, and without a car, we won’t be able to get him the care he needs. We have no savings to fall back on, and the thought of losing our car—and everything that depends on it—is terrifying.
We are asking for help to raise enough money to purchase a replacement vehicle. This would allow us to keep working, get our son to his appointments, and keep our family safe and secure. We are so grateful to anyone that can help, but if you can’t, even a share would be an enormous help! Thank you to everyone who can help, and we promise to pay it forward in any way we can!
