Help us keep our family home and repair this roof

My mom and I own a house. It has been the same house we have lived in since I was born in '88. Now we are facing losing our house because we don't have the money to fix the whole roof. If we don't come up with it, they could recall the loan and leave us with nothing through homeowners.

I have been taking care of my mother. She is 75 and has a brain tumor and other complications. I have tried any and everything to try to get a loan, but it's not easy when my mom is on SS and I wait tables and do to-gos at a restaurant.

The principal of the house is paid off. We only owe a little interest, which we pay every month. It would be a hard thing to go through losing the house because of not being able to pay for a roof in the near future.
