We are Anisa Al-Busaidy and Joy Santocildes, the proud founders of Tru Performance and Rehab, a women-owned health and wellness facility in Etobicoke, ON. Since opening our doors in June 2022, we have poured our hearts and souls into creating a safe haven for healing and fitness.
Every day, we’ve witnessed the incredible transformations of our clients—people overcoming injuries, finding strength, and rediscovering their joy through movement. Our multidisciplinary clinic offers vital services like physiotherapy, massage therapy, chiropractic care, personal training, and group fitness classes, all delivered with unwavering care and attention.
However, like so many small businesses, we’ve faced unexpected challenges. Rising costs of living, materials, and overhead expenses have made it increasingly difficult to sustain our dream. After much reflection, we made the difficult decision to relocate our beloved facility to ensure we can continue serving the loyal clients and the amazing community that has supported us from the start.
But this move comes with financial burdens that could threaten our ability to stay open. It breaks our hearts to reach out for help, but we believe in the power of community and hope that you will stand with us in our time of need.
