Here I am again! You're used to me asking for donations for others, funerals for people, replacing wrecked vehicles, helping people who find themselves suddenly without support. And cats. Lots of cats. Especially those who need help to live. This is different. This is for us. I've never asked for us.
On Feb 3, 2022, a very large tree in the back of my childhood home fell over, roots and all, taking down 2 other trees and the power lines, and seriously damaging the roof and wood siding. Thankfully, Team Rubicon came in and cleared out the trees. Wonderful friends and neighbours helped temporarily patch the roof, but it needs proper repair, as it is already leaking again.
We have spent every spare penny helping others for many years. We don't begrudge it, and want to keep doing it. But first, we need some help with the house I grew up in, to make it whole again. Thank you for any help you can give. It really does take a village.
