Help us keep Gizmo home

Hello! I've started this fundraiser to help my son keep his police K9, Gizmo. Gizmo and his handler have been together for almost 2 years. They have trained together, worked together, ate together and been through alot together. My son is a military veteran and a police officer. When he got Gizmo, he was determined to help rid the community where he worked and lived of the drug problem. Together they have accomplished that.

Fast forward to now. My son has accepted a job with another department in another state. It is a great opportunity with lots of room to advance. Unfortunately Gizmo didn't get the job with him. We have decided we would like to keep him as a retired canine. The department he currently belongs to is willing to sell him to us. The down side is obviously the cost. We have until February 8th to come up with the money or Gizmo will go back to them.

My son and Gizmo have a very unique connection and both would be devastated if they have to separate from each other. Times are tough for everyone, including us, so if you have it to give, would you please donate to this cause. Thanks in advance!
