Because every family deserves security, independence, and peace of mind.

Hi, I am Kevin, a proud husband, a power wheelchair user, and a soon to be dad. My amazing wife Brooklyn and I are overjoyed to be expecting our first baby together. She is currently 32 weeks pregnant, and life feels big, full, and beautifully hopeful.

But with that growing love comes real and urgent needs, especially when it comes to safety and mobility.

I live with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and rely on my power wheelchair for independence every single day. Brooklyn is currently the only driver of our accessible van, and right now securing my wheelchair requires manual tie downs. That means bending, kneeling, reaching, and physical strain, tasks that are increasingly dangerous as her pregnancy progresses and will be unrealistic once our baby arrives.

As our family grows, having safe and realistic transportation is no longer optional. It is essential.

That is why we are raising funds for an EZ Lock wheelchair securement bracket that goes under my powerchair.

The EZ Lock system allows my wheelchair to dock and lock securely into place automatically, eliminating the need for Brooklyn to bend, kneel, or strain. It keeps me safe during travel without placing physical risk on her, supports my independence, and makes daily life appointments errands and future family outings realistic and sustainable.

This system would allow Brooklyn to drive confidently and safely without risking injury, strain, or complications during pregnancy or postpartum recovery. At the same time, it ensures I can travel securely and with dignity, without placing physical demands on the person who already carries so much.

As we prepare to become parents, we are doing everything we can to build a safe, accessible, and sustainable life for our family. The EZ Lock system is not a luxury for us. It is a medical and safety necessity.
