Norwich Unity Hub is launching an important appeal - one that could help save lives in our community.
We are raising £2,000 to install a suicide prevention bench at Carrow House. A simple yet powerful resource offering 24/7 access to crisis support.
These benches are more than just a place to sit. They are a visible reminder that help is always available, no matter the time of day or night.
Each bench provides:
- Direct contact numbers for crisis support
- QR codes connecting people instantly to trained listeners
- Built-in lighting so it remains a beacon of hope, even in the darkest hours
In moments of crisis, something as small as a pause, a place to sit, and a reminder that someone cares can make all the difference.
This initiative is part of the incredible work by Legend on the Bench , a charity dedicated to placing these life-saving benches in communities across the UK, ensuring no one feels alone or without support.
Now, we need your help to bring one to Norwich.
Our goal is to raise £2,000 by 1st September to purchase and install the bench at Carrow House, with the necessary permissions already in place. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to making this a reality.
