Help Us Inspire the Next Generation of Beekeepers

Hi friends! If we haven't yet met, we are Jason and Veronica. We're beekeepers in Prescott, Wisconsin with a passion for teaching others—especially children—about the incredible world of honey bees.

Over the past few years, we've seen firsthand how kids light up when they learn about bees: how they work together, how they make honey, and how vital they are to our food and ecosystem. We want to take that excitement a step further by giving kids the hands-on experience of visiting a real working apiary—safely.

That’s why we are raising $4,000 to purchase child-sized beekeeping suits and gloves for ages 3 to 12. Our goal is 32 suits in total. These suits will be able to welcome daycare groups, homeschool co-ops, STEM programs, and elementary school classes to our apiary for educational hive tours for years to come. These visits will give kids a chance to suit up, step into the world of the honeybee, and witness the magic of the hive—while staying completely safe and protected.

We believe that when kids get to see, touch, and experience nature up close, it sparks a lifelong connection. This isn’t just about bees—it’s about inspiring curiosity, stewardship, and a love for the natural world.
