Please HELP...

In loving Memory of Maria C. Medeiros, 67, of Hudson, Ma, passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side on Monday, June 14, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Medeiros. They were married for 30 years.

Born in Santa Maria, (Azores) Portugal. Maria found herself a new home, immigrating to Hudson, Ma, in June 1976 where she spent the remaining years of her life. She was a long time member of the Hudson Portuguese Club, where you could find her enjoying the music and food at many feasts, including the Holy Ghost Festival.

Maria’s passion was spending time with her Family & Friends that she cared so deeply for. Her charismatic personality and witty sense of humor always shined through. She had a love for eating fresh fish and very often anticipated when her brother, José would be calling her saying he had caught fish after his day out by the ocean. Most days, Maria adored her time chatting it up on the phone due to long distance, like a couple school girls with her sister, Ludovina cracking up jokes and making each other laugh.

It has been a struggle watching her these past 20 years as her health declined, starting with her becoming blind due to diabetes and then wheelchair bound. Towards the end her body gave it's all as organs completely shut down. It was very heartbreaking seeing her losing control but bittersweet knowing she is no longer suffering the pain.

In addition to her husband Daniel, Maria is survived by her 3 children, Anibal Melo, Betty M. Melo, and Antonio Melo all who reside in Hudson, Ma; 5 grandchildren, Antonio E. Melo, Stephan C. Melo, Aryana Melo, Antonio F. Melo Jr. and José A. Melo; her sister, Ludovina Braga and her husband Manuel Braga of Canada; her brother, José M. Freitas and his wife Fatima Freitas of Hudson, Ma. and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, she is also predeceased by three sisters, Maria Celestina de Freitas Puim Coelho, Filomena de Freitas and Anibal Freitas.

Maria will be dearly missed by many.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Family in this dire need.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS HER BURIAL ARRANGEMENTS...

Thank you and GOD BLESS!
