Help us in keeping our animals together & cared for

Hello all, thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Grace & I’ve been looking after & rescuing animals for nearly my entire life alongside my Mum for the past 20+ years.

My Mum was recently sadly diagnosed with terminal lung cancer & she unfortunately deteriorated very quickly. At 2.34am on 24/04/2025 my beautiful mum passed away.

Alongside the obvious emotional toll and the stress of having to sort her personal affairs, the responsibility of the animals in her care has now fallen to me. A responsibility I would usually relish in however due to my own ailing health issues which currently prevent me from work & the mounting costs of food, vet bills etc. along with the cost of living, I am unable to do so without help.

The choice of doing so is not made lightly however if it prevents these lovely kitties from having to go into a shelter/rescue space (when they are already full to the brim with animals needing homes) then I would like to do all I can to make this possible as well as keeping them all together.

I currently have 4 cats myself already & will be taking on another 7 plus my Mum’s dog Ink (a rescue that came all the way from Romania a few years ago) majority are also elderly and/or in poor health requiring regular vet checks and medication. As you can probably imagine the costs get very expensive very quickly.

My sister is graciously helping with the very high costs of cat proofing our garden & renovating our garage so that they’ll have a large and safe environment which I plan on filling with plenty of enrichment for them. However that still leaves the ongoing costs of food, litter, general supplies & vet bills etc.

All donations made will go directly to supporting the cats (and Ink’s) care and in doing so keep them together and out of being taken to a stressful life at a shelter with no guarantee of a new home. Please help me help them in giving them the best life possible!
