Help Us Improve Our Dog's Lives

PLEASE HELP!  As many of you know, we here at Keepsake Labradors will do just about anything for our dogs, including one of the hardest things for us to do in this life, reach out and ask others for help.  Recently the AKC has given us an ultimatum to fix the situation with THE MUD on our property on or before May 20th.  Since our move from Pennsylvania to West Virginia, due to a number of circumstances including but not limited to life's little curve-balls and hidden expenses of relocation, we seem to find ourselves perpetually strapped financially.  In the past years a few times we have had to reach out for help to cover veterinary expenses in cases of dog's with severe and life threatening conditions. Thanks to the support of gracious donors and exemplary veterinary care, all of these campaigns have been a success.  Unfortunately, now the time has come where we are forced to call on you for your support once again.  Our property in West Virginia, while being great for the dogs in many ways, has some serious issues with drainage, which during the rainy seasons of the year (fall, winter and spring here), produce some long lasting and ever growing mud holes.  While correcting this situation has always been on the to do list, since our move here it seems like we always take one step forward and two steps back financially preventing us from being able to properly address this situation.  The dogs love the large open exercise areas we are set up to provide for them, however when the drainage and mud problem rears its ugly head, our poor dogs don't even want to traverse the seas of mud in order to get there and furthermore once they are there, would really prefer not to traverse the mud to come back inside even in the worst of inclement weather.  As we have said, correcting this problem is something we have wanted to do for a while and were making plans to correct this during the dry summer season, however due to a recent surprise inspection by the American Kennel Club we are being forced to take action now.  The AKC has given us an ultimatum :  To fix the drainage situation within 45 days or to have our AKC registration privileges suspended.  Clearly, we do not want to lose our registration privileges, so we have no choice but to address this situation sooner rather than later.  Unfortunately, due to ever increasing veterinary costs and recent decline in puppy sales due to Judy's inability to do what she normally does as a result of a series of health issues, we just do not have the money to be able to meet AKC's request and as such are hoping you can help us help our dogs.  All donations will go directly toward our drainage project and will be used for materials such as gravel, pipe, culverts and excavation fees.  If you have a Keepsake dog or know a Keepsake dog that has in some way enriched your life, please help.  Think of it this way, your donation will go to improving the quality of life of ancestors (perhaps even parents and siblings) of the Keepsake dog's you know and/or own.  In a way, it can just be your way of telling our dogs thank you for being a part of the dog I know and/or own.  Their presence has enriched my life and in turn I wish to help improve their living conditions.  Please help us so that we and our dogs can continue to be a part of your lives.  All donations are greatly appreciated and no amount is to small.  Our small business page has nearly 3,300 likes .... Just think if everyone who follows the page donated even $5, we would exceed our goal.
