Help Us Honour Nakaii Danvers: A Beautiful Son Gone Too Soon

Donation protected
From the Organizer:
On April 23rd, 2025, 15-year-old Nakaii Danvers was tragically murdered in Brampton, Ontario.

Though Nakaii was not one of the missing boys we’ve been fighting to protect across this province, his death is a devastating reminder that our Black sons are not safe — whether they vanish or are violently taken. Every day, too many families are left shattered. Every parent’s worst nightmare becomes another name, another headline — often softened behind words like “suspicious death,” while the truth goes unspoken.

We will speak it. Nakaii was killed.
And we will not let his story fade.

This campaign has been launched to support Nakaii’s family with funeral expenses during this unbearable time. As the founder of Find Ontario Missing Boys, I’ve witnessed firsthand how grief and injustice can compound in silence. We want to break that silence — with compassion, with dignity, and with community support.

Please — if you know anything that could help bring clarity, truth, or justice to this case, come forward. Your information could help a grieving mother sleep again. And to every parent reading this: hold your children closer tonight. Every moment is a gift.

From Nakaii’s Mother, Natalie:
My name is Natalie. My 15-year-old son, Nakaii Danvers, was murdered on April 23rd.

Nakaii was completing grade 10 and attended school in Brampton, ON.
He had an amazing smile — it was contagious. He was very funny, loved to make people laugh, and had a unique sense of humour. He was silly and playful — always teasing his 9-year-old sister, and sharing a deep bond over music with his older brother. Nakaii was also an incredible artist. He loved playing basketball and video games. He was one of a kind — and he was deeply loved and adored by his family, friends, and community.

We are shattered by this unexpected tragedy and loss. This fundraiser will help us with the funeral costs and to honour Nakaii's memory in the way he deserves.

He will forever be missed.
Thank you for supporting us during this time.

— Natalie, Nakaii’s Mom
