It breaks my heart to share that my beloved Ivan passed away, quietly in my arms at 12:20pm. On 16 July 2025.

He fought cancer with the strength, grace and unshakeable spirit of a true warrior. Until his final breath, Ivan showed the same courage and love he gave so freely throughout his life.

To his students and everyone he mentored - you were his purpose.

He wasn't just a boxing coach, he was a guide, a motivator, a friend.

Helping others grow, heal and thrive wasn't just his work, it was his calling.

He believed deeply in people, even when they didn't yet believe in themselves.

Ivan changed lives, his legacy lives on in every student he trained, every child he inspired and every soul he lifted.

I'm setting up this fundraiser to help cover funeral and memorial costs so we can honour him the way he deserves - with dignity, love and community.
