On Saturday, April 5th, our world was shattered. Harvey, a much-loved son, fiancé, soon-to-be father, and friend was involved in a devastating road accident. He was flown to hospital by air ambulance, but tragically, despite the incredible efforts of the emergency team, he was pronounced brain dead.

Harvey was just 22 years old. A young man full of life, laughter, and love. He was on the cusp of a new chapter eagerly waiting for the arrival of his baby girl with his fiancée. He was hardworking, loyal, kind, and had a heart of gold. A true family man, Harvey worked as a bricklayer alongside his dad. A job he loved and took pride in. He was building a life, building a future! One that was taken from him in the blink of an eye.

His sudden passing has left a deep hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Harvey was the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. He didn’t just live, he loved deeply. He loved his family, his partner, and the little girl he never got to meet but spoke about with so much joy and excitement.

No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child. No partner should have to face parenthood alone. And no little girl should grow up without her dad because of a moment that changed everything.

This GoFundMe has been created to help ease the burden on Harvey’s family during this unimaginable time. The funds raised will go towards giving Harvey the send-off he deserves and providing support for his baby girl as she enters this world without her daddy by her side.
