Hi family and friends,

We are reaching out with a humble heart on behalf of our family. On October 11, 2025, our mother, Yolanda Thompkins, gained her wings. Her passing was unexpected, and as we navigate this heartbreaking time, our focus is on celebrating her life with love, dignity, and peace.

Our mom was vibrant, funny, strong, resourceful, and full of life, the type of woman who could light up any room she entered (or turn it upside down). She loved her family deeply, despite all of our differences.

Her final wish was to be cremated and for her ashes to be spread in Jamaica, so she could eternally rest in the place she truly enjoyed traveling to.

Because our family lives in different states, the travel and arrangements have become financially overwhelming.

We are asking for your love, prayers, support and donations, as we do our best to fulfill her final wishes. No amount is too small. Every dollar helps us lay her to rest with love.
