Help Us Honor Wayne “Dude” Leemon

With great sadness, we share that Wayne “Dude” Leemon passed away on May 13, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was 59.

A proud South Philly native, Wayne often put his skills as a general contractor to use for family and friends. He was always good for a laugh and loved animals.

He is survived by his children, Nicholas and Chloe; his partner, Michele Erbenich; his sisters, Kim and Kelli; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be deeply missed.

Wayne will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held in the neighborhood at a later date. We’re raising funds to help cover cremation and end-of-life expenses. Any contribution—no matter the size—would mean a great deal to our family.
