Hello family, my mother, Verna Jordan, passed yesterday night. She was such a very strong and understanding woman. She raised her children and grandchildren with unconditional love. She fought many battles here on earth, trying to protect her family and live a peaceful life. She is a twin sister to a family with three sets of twins. She was the second set. She has two children, me and my older brother, and 7 grandchildren she loved dearly. She was a homebody type of person, always minding her own business with the pursuit to get ahead in life.

Living in a world with little to no option, she did her best with what she had. As her only daughter, I was never in fear of one day losing my mother. I always expected her to live forever due to the strength I saw in her. But unfortunately, the day has come and my family is challenged with the burden of putting her to rest. We now know that preparing for a death is most required.

I love my mother. I have come to know a pain unexplainable. I'm so shocked by this happening so suddenly that I'm choosing to seek every outlet to ensure her rest. I'm hoping that somewhere in the hearts of my loved ones, they might help me with her resting and giving her the proper goodbyes.
