Help Us Honor Tyrone’s Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden loss of our beloved Tyrone, who passed away unexpectedly on February 8th, 2025. Tyrone was a loving father, son, and friend to all who knew him. He was kind, generous, and his spirit brightened the lives of many, and we are all deeply saddened by his untimely passing.

Many who knew Tyrone witnessed his tremendous dedication to the sport of wrestling. Tyrone was not just a champion on the mat; he was a true testament to dedication, perseverance, and hard work. Throughout his incredible wrestling career, he proved time and time again what it meant to give everything for the sport he loved. But it’s not just the trophies and titles that make Tyrone special. It’s his unwavering commitment to excellence, his discipline, and his ability to inspire everyone around him. Tyrone’s work ethic and passion for wrestling earned him the respect of teammates, coaches, and competitors alike. Whether on the practice mat or in competition, he always showed what it meant to push through challenges and rise to the occasion. With three North Carolina 4A state championships under his belt and three-time National All-American honors, Tyrone has solidified his place as one of the most accomplished wrestlers to ever compete in our community. Tyrone’s achievements speak for themselves, but it’s the character and heart he displayed that will forever be his greatest triumph.

As family navigates this incredibly difficult time, we are now faced with the financial burden of arranging Tyrone’s travel from Iowa to North Carolina, funeral services, and final expenses. While no amount of money can bring Tyrone back, we are asking for your support to help cover some the costs of his services and relieve his loved ones from this additional stress during such a challenging period.
