It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved father, Tyrone Ruffin Sr, who passed away after a 6 year courageous battle with breast cancer. A disease often associated with women, but one that took our strong, kind, and loving dad far too soon.

Our dad was the kind of person who showed up for everyone—quietly, consistently, and wholeheartedly. Whether it was a neighbor in need, a friend going through tough times, or his own family, he gave his time, his strength, and his love without ever asking for anything in return.

He fought his illness with grace and resilience, rarely complaining and always more concerned about how others were doing than himself. His strength, even in his most vulnerable moments, inspired all of us.

We’re starting this GoFundMe to help with funeral and memorial expenses, and to ease the financial burdens that come with such an unexpected and heartbreaking loss. Every donation, no matter how small, helps us give our dad the farewell he deserves and allows us to focus on healing and remembering him with the dignity he lived his life with.
