Help Us Honor Tonyque Davis

Hi all, my name is Tonytte Davis. I’m the sister of Tonyque Davis. Marykate Clark, my sister’s best friend, and I are organizing this GoFundMe. On August 11th, 2024, my sister was involved in a hit-and-run accident on the corner of Franklin Ave and Adelaide Street in Hartford, CT. She was T-boned and her car had flipped over. The driver who hit her was driving recklessly at a high speed. After he crashed into her, he left and ran on foot. She had to be extracted by firemen because the damage to her car was severe. He left her for dead, didn’t try to help or see if she was ok. She was barely hanging on when she was being transported to the hospital. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. We were told by doctors she went into cardiac arrest. My sister was only 23; she had more life to live. She leaves behind a baby girl who would be 3 on August 18th.

My sister was a great mom, sister, daughter, and friend. She was courageous, fearless, and loving. She was the toughest person I know and she also cared the most about the people she loved. With this sudden and unexpected death, we are asking for help to cover the funeral so we can bury her. We want to give her daughter a place to go and visit her mom when she needs to.
