Help Us Honor the Memory of Our Beloved Mother
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the unexpected passing of my mom. She was not just a mother, but the glue that held our family together. The void she leaves behind is immeasurable.
My mom, Lois, was the type of person who made friends everywhere she went. She never met a stranger, and her kindness and warmth were felt by everyone. She was the rock of our family, and her loss has devastated us all. Her spirit will live on in the many memories she left behind with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren, Kya (10) and Kal (7).
In addition to raising me, my mom endured unimaginable loss in her life. In 1986, she tragically lost her daughter, Kimberly, at just three years old, in a car accident. Despite this heartbreaking tragedy, my mom’s love never wavered. She went on to adopt me, and her love and strength were a constant source of comfort and stability for me and my children.
She was always there—never missing a grandparent event, birthday, or school break, ready to spend time with her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan, and her presence in their lives created a huge sense of security and love. Her sudden passing has left a void that will be felt by all who knew her, but especially by Kya and Kal, who will miss their grandma’s love and guidance.
My mom’s final wishes were to be cremated and buried beside her daughter Kimberly at Woodlawn Gardens in Gotha, FL. This, along with funeral expenses, has left our family in a difficult position. The shock of her passing has overwhelmed us, and we are now asking for help to honor her life and carry out her wishes.
Please help us cover the costs of her funeral and cremation so we can lay her to rest where she wanted to be, next to Kimberly. Any amount of support, whether financial or through sharing this page, would mean the world to our family during this heartbreaking time.
I take comfort in knowing that my mom is now with the Lord and reunited with her daughter in heaven. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support as we navigate this incredibly difficult chapter in our lives.
