Over the past weeks, our family has lived through a pain we never imagined. We have laid our babies, O’Karreo & Amourra to rest and honored their short, beautiful lives, but now we are facing the part that is just as heavy—the day-to-day reality for the surviving siblings who are still here, still hurting, and still trying to make sense of a world that changed overnight.
These children have endured more than any child ever should. Their routines, their sense of safety, and the stability they once knew were shaken in ways that take time, care, and patience to rebuild. As we focus on surrounding them with love and consistency, our goal is to help them slowly reconnect with regular life—school, activities, counseling, and moments of joy that remind them they are still allowed to feel like kids.
We are also working extremely hard to keep their identities private, as we truly do not know who may want to cause them harm or exploit their trauma. Protecting their safety is our top priority, and maintaining their privacy is an essential part of helping them heal.
We are asking for help not just for expenses, but for the emotional and practical needs that come with restoring their sense of normalcy. This includes therapy, tutoring, clothing, transportation, meals, and the everyday things that help rebuild structure and security. Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly toward giving these children the support and stability they need during this long healing process.
Our family is deeply grateful for every prayer, message, donation, and act of kindness that has carried us this far. If you are able, please consider helping us continue to support these kids as they rebuild their world piece by piece. Your generosity is helping guide them back toward safety, routine, and hope.
Thank you for standing with us.
