On August 2nd, our grandmother Mama Miki passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories. She was more than just a grandmother — she was a sister, a mother, a friend, and the heart of our family.
To know her was to know warmth. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. Her comforting hugs, her delicious home-cooked meals and her wise words, she made a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her laughter lit up our family gatherings and her presence made any place feel like home.
As a mother to Maribel Jimenez, Geovana Dawson, Jhosmar Jimenez, Jhonny Jimenez and Edy Jimenez(+), she gave everything she had to raise them with love, patience, and strength. She taught them the value of family, hard work and compassion — lessons they now pass on to their own children. As her grandchildren, we remember the beautiful moments: dancing in the living room, getting our favorite treats, sharing stories together, and how she never let us leave without a full heart and a full plate.

El 2 de agosto, nuestra abuela Mama Miki falleció, dejando un legado de amor, fuerza y recuerdos inolvidables. Ella era más que una abuela, era una hermana, una madre, una amiga y el corazón de nuestra familia.
Conocerla era conocer la calidez. Ella tenía una forma de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos y amados. Sus abrazos reconfortantes, sus deliciosas comidas caseras y sus sabias palabras, tuvo un impacto duradero en todos los que conoció. Su risa iluminó nuestras reuniones familiares y su presencia hizo que cualquier lugar se sintiera como en casa.
Como madre de Maribel Jiménez, Geovana Dawson, Jhosmar Jiménez, Jhonny Jimenez y Edy Jiménez(+), dio todo lo que tenía para criarlos con amor, paciencia y fuerza.
