Our family is heartbroken as we prepare to lay our grandmother, Jean, to rest.

If you knew her, you know she was the kind of woman who showed up — for her children, her grandchildren, and anyone who needed her. She carried so much love, strength, and wisdom, and her presence in our family is something that can never be replaced.

As we navigate this loss, we are also facing the unexpected financial responsibility of funeral and burial expenses. Our grandmother did have a life insurance policy, but it only covers a portion of the total costs.
