Our father, Jay Jester, passed away after a courageous battle with prostate cancer. To know Jay was to know warmth, humor, and a quiet strength that made people feel safe and seen. He was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone who showed up for others without ever expecting anything in return.

Jay faced his illness with resilience and grace, continuing to put his family first even as his health declined. His passing has left an enormous hole in our lives, one that words can’t fully capture. While we are grateful for the time we had with him, the emotional loss is now accompanied by unexpected financial burdens related to medical care, end-of-life expenses, and laying him to rest with the dignity he deserves.
