Hello all, my name is Valerie Salazar and I have put together this gofundme on behalf of my tia & the Castro family.

We are heartbroken to share the passing of our beloved uncle, Javier Castro. He was the heart of our family—a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and the kind of uncle everyone felt lucky to have. Javier was a hard worker with a warm smile who lit up every room he entered. He always put others first and lived his life with generosity, humility, and love.

Javier leaves behind his wife (our dear tia), five children, and three grandchildren who adored him. As we try to navigate this painful time, we are reaching out for support to help cover funeral expenses, a memorial service to celebrate his life, and to ease the financial burden on the family he worked so hard to provide for.
