On July 1st, 2025, our world changed forever. Erik “The Kid” Martinez—passed away suddenly at just 35 years old. He was a devoted father, a cherished son, and a fierce friend to many. Erik leaves behind his heartbroken parents and his 13-year-old daughter, who was the center of his universe.

To know Erik was to know someone who loved deeply, lived passionately, and always gave more than he took. He was a professional bodybuilder, a dedicated high school wrestling coach at Evergreen Valley High, and an online trainer who believed in the power of transformation—both physical and spiritual. Whether training beginners or champion athletes, Erik always made people feel seen, heard, and capable.

Beyond the gym, Erik had a huge heart for animals—raising Frenchies and caring for reptiles with the same intensity and devotion he gave to everything in his life. But his greatest pride was being a father. He showed up, he supported, and he loved his daughter with every ounce of who he was.
