️ HELP US HONOR THE LIFE & LEGACY OF MICHEAL TYRONE LEE JR. — “MIKE T” ️

Our family is heartbroken over the sudden and tragic loss of Micheal Tyrone Lee Jr., affectionately known as “Mike T.”

Mike T was a father, brother, son, soon-to-be husband, friend, teammate, and a man whose life touched so many people.

From Inkster, Michigan, Mike T found his passion and purpose through basketball. He played at Wayne Memorial High School, continued his journey through college in South Dakota, and eventually reached one of the highest levels a basketball player could dream of — becoming a Harlem Globetrotter, where he spent seven years traveling and playing the game he loved.

But basketball was bigger than a career for Mike T.

He wanted to represent basketball to the world.

He wanted to show people what could come from his community, his dedication, his talent, and his love for the game. Basketball gave him a platform to reach people far beyond where he grew up, and he carried that representation with him everywhere he went.

For those who knew Mike T through basketball, they knew the passion he had for the game. They saw his talent, his personality, his dedication, and the way he represented himself and his community.

He didn't just want to play basketball — he wanted to represent basketball to the world.

After his basketball career, Mike T transitioned into trucking and continued working hard to provide for his family and build his future.

Above everything, Mike T was a father and family man.

He leaves behind his children, Nevaeh and Micheal Tyrone Lee III, who carries his father's name as the third.

He also leaves behind his lifelong partner and soon-to-be wife, Anesa Deniquia-Renee Lee, whom he had been with for 20 years since high school. Their relationship was a major part of Mike T's life, growing from young love into a lifelong partnership and the family they built together.

Mike T also leaves behind his parents, siblings, extended family, friends, former teammates, and countless people who loved and respected him.

His life was taken far too soon in a tragic accident, leaving behind a family and community trying to cope with a loss that words cannot fully describe.

We are asking for support to help our family with the expenses surrounding his passing and, most importantly, to help provide support for his children, Anesa, and his loved ones as we move forward.

Our goal is to honor Mike T not only by giving him the farewell he deserves, but by preserving the legacy he worked so hard to create.

A legacy that began on the basketball courts of Inkster and Wayne Memorial, continued through college in South Dakota, and took him around the world as a Harlem Globetrotter.

He represented basketball.
️ He represented his community.
❤️ He represented his family.
And he represented the game he loved to the world.

And now, we want to make sure his legacy continues to represent him.

If you can donate, no amount is too small. If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser with your family, friends, teammates, coworkers, former teammates, basketball communities, and everyone whose life Mike T touched.

Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every word of support means something to us.

Mike T's journey may have ended, but his legacy will continue through his children, Anesa, his family, the people he inspired, the communities he represented, and the game he loved.

Rest peacefully, Mike T.
❤️ Your legacy lives on.
You represented the game to the world.
