Our hearts are broken as we share that our beloved Aunt Paulette Davis passed away today, October 4, 2025.
Paulette was a woman of deep faith, strength, and kindness. She faced years of health challenges with grace and courage — including kidney disease, chronic anemia, stomach ulcers, blood clots, intestinal blockages, dementia, and fluid retention. In recent months, she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, which later spread to her liver.
She bravely began chemotherapy, but after her second session, her body became too weak to continue. The doctors decided it was best to focus on her comfort, and Paulette spent her final days in home hospice care, surrounded by love, peace, and prayer.
Even in her weakest moments, Aunt Paulette’s spirit never dimmed. She smiled through her pain, prayed for others, and reminded everyone that faith would get them through. While we are comforted knowing she is now resting in God’s hands, the heartbreak of losing her is overwhelming.
Why We’re Asking for Help
As our family begins the process of saying goodbye, we are faced with the many expenses that come in the days immediately following a loved one’s passing. We must begin making arrangements by Monday, October 6, and we are asking for help to cover these unexpected costs — including final arrangements, necessary legal matters, and household responsibilities that now fall on the family.
We have set a goal of $7,000 to ensure that Aunt Paulette’s affairs can be handled properly and that she receives the dignified farewell she deserves.
Every dollar will go directly toward these needs and to help ease the financial strain during this heartbreaking time.
How You Can Help
If you are able, please consider making a donation — no matter the amount. Every contribution helps bring us closer to giving Paulette the loving and peaceful farewell she earned after such a hard-fought battle.
If you can’t give financially, please share this campaign with others and keep our family in your prayers. Your kindness, love, and support mean more than words can express.
We truly thank each and every one of you for helping us honor the beautiful life of Paulette Davis — a woman who gave her all, loved deeply, and never stopped believing in God’s grace.
