Dear Family and Friends,

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Elizabeth Torres, who left this world on September 22, 2025, at the age of 49. She was born on March 15, 1976, and throughout her life, she was a constant source of love, strength, and inspiration.

For the past eight years, my mom bravely battled AML Leukemia. Despite the physical toll, she never allowed her illness to define her. She faced every challenge with courage, grace, and a fighting spirit that inspired everyone around her. She pushed forward every single day smiling, laughing, and living fully building a legacy that will last forever.

More than anything, my mom was proud to be a mother and grandmother. Her children were her world, and she poured her heart into raising us with love, wisdom, and compassion. Becoming a grandma brought her so much joy, her face would light up every time she talked about her grandchildren, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

As her son, I want to give her the peaceful and dignified farewell she deserves one that reflects the incredible woman she was. Unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses has become more than I can carry on my own.

Con profunda tristeza y profundo pesar, comparto el fallecimiento de mi querida madre, Elizabeth Torres, quien dejó este mundo el 22 de septiembre de 2025, a la edad de 49 años. Nació el 15 de marzo de 1976 y, a lo largo de su vida, fue una fuente constante de amor, fortaleza e inspiración.

Durante los últimos ocho años, mi madre luchó valientemente contra la leucemia mieloide aguda (LMA). A pesar del sufrimiento físico, nunca permitió que la enfermedad la definiera. Enfrentó cada desafío con valentía, gracia y un espíritu de lucha que inspiró a todos a su alrededor. Salió adelante cada día, sonriendo, riendo y viviendo plenamente, construyendo un legado que perdurará para siempre.

Más que nada, mi madre estaba orgullosa de ser madre y abuela. Sus hijos eran su mundo, y se dedicó con todo su corazón a criarnos con amor, sabiduría y compasión. Convertirse en abuela le trajo muchísima alegría; su rostro se iluminaba cada vez que hablaba de sus nietos y atesoraba cada momento que pasaba con ellos. Como su hijo, quiero darle la despedida tranquila y digna que se merece, una que refleje la increíble mujer que fue. Desafortunadamente, la carga financiera de los gastos funerarios y conmemorativos se ha vuelto insostenible.
