Help Us Honor Terrell Lowdermilk’s Life

We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of our beloved cousin, Terrell Lowdermilk, who was the victim of a hit-and-run while simply doing his job. He was struck by a truck, and his life was taken far too soon.

Terrell had a rare gift; he could light up any room just by walking into it. His warm, infectious laugh could soften even the sternest face, and his presence made everyone feel at ease. He was more than just a good man; he was a son, a brother, a cousin, and a friend whose love and loyalty ran deep.

A proud young Black man, Terrell believed in honoring the past while keeping his eyes firmly on the future. He worked tirelessly, often clocking over 40 hours a week, not for material gain, but to fulfill a dream: retiring his mother and building a better life for both of them. His dedication came from witnessing the strength of his mom, Cindy Hayes, who gave everything she had to provide for him and his brother, Calvin Lowdermilk.

We are now raising funds to help cover:

I, Olivia Harris, am organizing this fundraiser. I am Cindy Hayes’s cousin and Terrell’s cousin. All donations will go directly to supporting Cindy Hayes. The funds will be withdrawn so Cindy can cover funeral expenses and living costs as she navigates this devastating loss.

Any amount you can give, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden on Terrell’s family and allow them to focus on healing.

Though Terrell's life was tragically cut short, the roots he planted in this world will continue to grow. He leaves behind beautiful memories that are uniquely held by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
