Our beloved dog Tanuki crossed the rainbow bridge today after an unexpected and heartbreaking decline that lasted 3 days. After talking with the vet, we made the difficult decision to let him go peacefully rather than let him suffer in an uphill battle. Tanuki was a beautiful soul who brought joy and gentleness to everyone he met. His kind nature touched our lives and the lives of our friends and family. As we grieve his loss, we’re also facing the costs of his vet care and cremation, so unexpected due to his age and appearance of health. We’re reaching out for help. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor Tanuki’s memory and ease the financial burden of saying goodbye.
