Our family is grieving a loss that words can hardly express. Just five weeks after we said goodbye to their beloved mother—who passed away after a long battle with dementia and health complications—Roger, age 41, passed away on June 20.

We believe the heartbreak of losing his mother weighed too heavily on Roger’s heart.

A Life Defined by Loyalty, Love & Fatherhood

Roger was the kind of person who always showed up. In high school, he had my back no matter what—whether someone was being serious or just joking, Roger would always step in and stand up for me. That was his nature: protector, loyal friend, and someone who loved with his whole heart.

He was:

    •    A proud father to his son Jordan, who meant the world to him

    •    A family man who kept us close and showed love in the everyday moments

    •    A passionate cook who loved sharing meals

    •    A lifelong Michael Jordan fan

He was a bright spirit, and we are devastated to lose him so soon.
