Help Us Honor Rep. Hugh McKean – Memorial Highway Sign Fund

I am proud to announce that House Joint Resolution 25-1026 has passed, officially designating a portion of Colorado State Highway 402 from U.S. Highway 287 to Interstate 25 as the Rep. Hugh McKean Memorial Highway.

Hugh McKean served the people of Colorado with heart, humor, and unwavering dedication. As a Minority Leader, Representative, and beloved community member, he left an enduring mark on all of us. After his sudden passing, it became my honor to be appointed to his seat, a responsibility I carry with deep respect.

Now, we have an opportunity to create a lasting tribute to Hugh’s memory by installing official highway signage along this stretch of road he called home.

We need your help to make it happen.

The cost to fabricate, purchase, and install the physical highway signs and hardware is $1,800.
