Update: Our mother was in the hospital for 10 days prior to her passing. She had full blown pneumonia in both lungs and a kidney infection which led to her death. I'm still waiting on the cemetery, hopefully I'll have more info later today.

It is unfortunate that I have to write this. My brother's and I have lost our mother, Rebecca Torres.

Our mom, passed away on Dec 2nd. We were just notified of her passing due to incorrect contact information. At this time the only thing we know is she was admitted to the hospital and and an E.R. doctor was called and she was pronounced on 12/02nd. Letters were sent to possible relatives on 12/20th and we were notified just last night. We have been on phones and calling to find out more but due to holidays we can't get any more info on how she passed.

My mother was estranged from me. My brother's were in and out of contact with her.

The positve is all we will share and hope thats all anyone will share. Our mom could make you laugh. She was caring and wanted to help. She loved to see family and always tried to be there if she could. She is survived by her siblings, children, grandchildren and great grand children and family and friends.

We know that her only request was to be buried with her mother. We were told her plot was paid for, but the cemetery says it may not be and is looking into it.

The amount we are asking is a starting point if the cemetery can't find her paperwork. It may cost more. The amount may cover burial and site. If we can raise more hopefully we will be able to have a service too.

We have no life insurance and we are all hurting in the finances to where we are robbing Peter to pay paul,, figuratively speaking of course.

I hate to have to ask but any help is appreciated. Please share at least if that's all you can do. We appreciate your help.
