Help us honor Raven's memory and care for their family

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

My name is Kaylee Lantis and I am Raven's sister-in-law.

Raven Astray Dysis left us on Monday, May 13th, 2024 at 18 years old. They had been struggling with their mental health for numerous years and could no longer exist in this realm. This is a horrible and unexpected tragedy for all of us that knew and loved Raven. We will all miss their effervescent presence, ever changing hair, and everything else that made them such a beautiful person inside and out. Before their departure, they wanted everyone to know how much they loved and cared for each and every one of us and that they would be alright.

Raven was a passionate artist and owner of Raven’s Mastery. They handmade books, created visual art with numerous mediums, installed colorful hair wraps, and more. We encourage you all to look for signs of Raven’s presence as we don’t think they’ve gone far. Take the time to enjoy viewing and creating art, explore the fae realm, and seek out adventure in the mundane and extraordinary. If you are the religious type, we ask that you pray or perform rituals to ensure Raven enjoys a peaceful life wherever they are now.

Raven is survived by their mother Persephone Denning, father John McBride, eldest sibling Ethan Lozynsky, eldest brother-in-law Matthew Lozynsky, older sister Apricity Vespertine, older sister-in-law Kaylee Lantis, and older brother Reysek McBride. They are also survived by multiple “adopted” members of their family including, but certainly not limited to, Ammie Hague, Michael Cowen, Joe, Sasha, Aunt Pat, Uncle Mitch, cousins Viktor, Rowen, and Kenzo, and many more who had the pleasure of growing with them.

If you feel the need to help or do something in their honor, please consider donating to the funeral costs. We are currently determining the best way to honor Raven’s corporeal form and their life overall. Funds will also go towards mental health care expenses for the family and general costs of living as we navigate our grief amidst this tragedy.

I will share details about their celebration of life should the family choose to have one. Thank you all in advance for your kindness as we learn how to live in this new, strange world.
