Help Us Honor John Earl Mullikin with a Dignified Goodbye

Hi, my name is Ashton, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family. My papa recently passed away, and we are trying to give him the peaceful, dignified goodbye that he truly deserves.

My papa didn’t have a will, and because of that, there’s been a lot of conflict within the family that’s made this already heartbreaking time even harder. Due to legal and financial complications, we’re currently facing the devastating reality that if nothing is done, he may be buried by the state in an unmarked grave—with no headstone, no service, and no way for his loved ones to visit or honor him.

He was so much more than this. He was my protector, my best friend, my comfort. He helped raise me. He gave the kind of love that sticks with you for a lifetime—strong, steady, and always there. He deserved so much better than this.

Our goal now is to cremate him and bring him home to the people who truly loved him. We want to be able to keep his memory alive and give him the respect and rest he’s earned.
