I am raising funds for my mom, Pamela, who passed away on Thursday, August 6th, 2026. She was a wonderful mother to me and my siblings, and an amazing grandma to my daughter, Elianna. My mom did so much for our family and was always there for us. She loved showing up for Elianna’s out-of-town volleyball games, cheering her on, and being there at her track meets too. Losing her has been devastating, and watching her suffer in her final days was heartbreaking for all of us.

Pamela was at McLaren Hospital in Lansing in an induced coma and on a ventilator after battling stage 4 breast, brain, and lung cancer. She had only found out she had cancer a little over a month earlier after getting pneumonia, and her health declined so quickly. She went from being there for everyone to needing oxygen every day, struggling to breathe, and becoming too weak to walk or care for herself. The speed of it all has left our family in shock and deep grief.

I am asking for help to ease some of the burden my family is now facing. The funds raised will go toward Pamela’s funeral and burial expenses, including her headstone plot. They will also help my father with urgent household bills and repairs, including a broken water heater, as he tries to manage on one income. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean so much to us as we grieve Pamela’s loss and try to give her the burial she deserves. Thank you for keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers.
